The Community Development Foundation (CDF) has published its final evaluation report on the Faiths in Action programme, which presents positive solutions to achieving community integration.
Following a competitive bid process, the Community Development Foundation (CDF) has been chosen by the government to deliver the Community First programme.
Community First is an £80m government funded programme that will help communities come together through new and existing community groups, to identify their strengths and local priorities, plan for their future and become more resilient. Community First includes a £30m small grant programme for some of the most deprived areas in the country and a national £50m endowment match challenge.
Community Development Foundation responds to findings of Independent Expert Panel
The Chief Executive of The Community Development Foundation (CDF), Alison Seabrooke, has issued an open letter in response to the findings of an Independent Expert Panel on Community Development, which was launched today at the House of Commons.
The Cabinet Office will today announce that the Community Development Foundation (CDF) will cease to operate as a public body as of 31st March 2011. CDF will continue to be run as a charity focusing on community development strategy and delivery.
