Community First
Community First is an £80m government-funded programme that will run for four years, until March 2015. It will help communities come together through new and existing community groups, to identify their strengths and local priorities, plan for their future and become more resilient.

Crime Innovation Fund
The Community action against crime: Innovation fund encourages creative new approaches to tackling crime. The fund is worth £5 million in 2011/12, with a further £5 million set aside for 2012/13. It will encourage greater community activism and enable communities to develop innovative approaches to tackling the local crime issues that matter to them.

Take Part Pathfinder
The Take Part Network is an independent membership organisation for anyone with an interest in the development and delivery of lifelong community-based learning. We are a self-funded Community Interest Company, and we do not rely on central government grants. Our members include representatives of voluntary sector bodies, public sector agencies, universities and specialist groups, as well as individuals across the UK who are committed to strengthening democracy, promoting the independent role of civil society and facilitating civil and civic participation within a social justice framework.
