Take Part
The Take Part Pathfinders Programme aims to support community leadership and active citizenship education. The programme has been designed so that it can support improvement against National Indicator 3 (civic participation in the local area – narrowing gaps between groups in order to raise involvement of disadvantaged sections of society) and National Indicator 4 (people feeling that they can influence decisions in their locality).
We are evaluating this programme on behalf of Communities and Local Government department. A range of evaluation tools are being developed to assist pathfinders to self evaluate, workshops on evaluation have been carried out across the country, and we continue to work closely supporting individual pathfinders.
Alongside the evaluation of Take Part we will be evaluating the complementary grant programme for pathfinders National Support Programme.
